Hailing from Princeton, IN, I began my journey at the University of Southern Indiana. I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Interactive Media Design, however, I’ve always been drawn to photography. To poor to afford stock photography, I picked up a camera and stumbled thru the creative process on my own. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by talented, creative friends & peers who contributed a great deal to my artistic abilities. After seven years in the industry I teamed up with Glenn Tang, who only further contributed to my abilities and continues to push the boundaries of my creative talents. After teaming up with Glenn, Black Pixel Studios emerged, in order to breathe new life into a monotonous industry.
In 2010 I married the love of my life, Amy, and in 2011 our son, Grayson, was born. Hopefully, they forgive all of the late hours and weekends devoted to Black Pixel. I hope they know that all of this hard work is ultimately for them. They are what drives me, motivates me and keeps me going on days I don’t feel like going anymore. “They’re my Rushmore”
Fueled by Red Bull, Zebra Cakes, Rock ’n’ Roll and Hip Hop, some might say I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with the creative process, tattoos and horror movies. This is what I love, I would be doing this regardless of if it put food on the table, or not.
